Non-populist pop from The Eccentronic Research Council’s “fakeloric sonic pilgrimage to the home of the Pendle witches” album. And it is mostly definitely “pop” music… in another of those (proliferating) parallel universes I can remember watching the band performing it on Top of the Pops.
